HBO Max orders season two of John Cena, James Gunn’s Peacemaker collection

John Cena-starrer collection Peacemaker has been renewed for season two by streaming service HBO Max. The present is a spin-off to filmmaker James Gunn’s 2021 film The Suicide Squad, during which Cena performed the function of Christopher “Peacemaker” Marks.

The first season of the collection debuted on HBO Max in January to optimistic response from the viewers and the critics. Gunn, who created the collection, will direct and write all episodes for season two, HBO Max stated in an announcement.
