In December, Border Force workers went on strike for a number of days, though Heathrow mentioned the disruption had been “managed successfully”. The Border Force drafted in navy personnel and civil servants to cowl roughly 1,000 workers, a lot of whom are answerable for checking passports, and journey delays had been reported to be minimal.
