Commenting on the event, Honda Cars India stated, “It is true that Mr. Rajesh Goyal has tendered his resignation due to personal reasons and has decided to pursue other interests outside the organization. Mr. Goyal since its inception. HCIL has been a part of and has made an invaluable contribution to our business by leading many important functions in the company. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours. He will step down from his position on December 24, 2021. This decision has been taken Mr. Yuichi Murata will take over as Director, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Limited.”
