The Crime Branch of Pimpri-Chinchwad Police has arrested 5 individuals who robbed a number of homes and recovered 95 tola of gold ornaments price Rs 47.5 lakh from them.

Police have recognized the accused as Lingya alias Ajit Pawar, Appa Ram Bhosale, his spouse Sarika Chougule alias Payal Appa Bhosale – residents of Osmanabad and Akshay Shinde and Ajay alias Rahul Pawar in Solapur. The accused used to cover within the forests of Solapur, Aurangabad and Osmanabad.

Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash stated throughout a press convention on Thursday that on a tip-off, against the law department crew laid a entice and nabbed Lingya at Walunj in Aurangabad and recovered 33 tola of gold ornaments from him.
