A spy on the British Embassy in Berlin who bought secrets and techniques to Russia and was caught in an undercover MI5 sting has been jailed for 13 years and two months.
David Smith, 58, tried to hurt Britain’s pursuits by passing on particulars of the embassy and its employees for money funds, a choose discovered after pleading responsible to espionage.
