Former India coach Ravi Shastri believes that Suryakumar Yadav is a ‘participant of three codecs’ and he needs to be quantity 5 for India in Test cricket.

“I believe he’s a participant of three codecs. I do know they do not speak about him in Test cricket, however he’s a participant of three codecs. This man can play Test cricket and I’ll let you know he can shock some individuals. Send him there at quantity 5 and create a stir in it.

Suryakumar Yadav, who scored an unbeaten 51 off 25 balls towards the Netherlands, thanked Shastri for exhibiting religion in his skills.

Suryakumar recalled, “I still remember that he called me, he was sitting by the pool, he told me ‘ja ke bindas dena’ before I made my debut.”

It was Ravi Shastri, the pinnacle coach of the Indian nationwide cricket staff, and had urged Suryakumar Yadav to “be strong and patient” after being ignored for India’s tour of Australia in 2020.

If there are fewer runs then I have to increase the pace and if there are more runs then I have to maintain that pace. It is easy,” stated after the match.
