India’s red-ball crew captain Virat Kohli addressed a digital press convention from Mumbai forward of the crew’s departure to South Africa and put to relaxation all of the rumours, categorically saying that he’s out there for choice for the ODI collection.

“I am available for selection in ODIs. You should ask these questions honestly to the sources who are writing all this,” mentioned 33-year-old Kohli.

“Some things came out in the past that said I was attending events but nothing like that and they are not credible.”

“I was contacted an hour and a half before the Test team selection and at the end of the call, I was told by five selectors that I would not captain the ODI team. That’s all. There was no prior communication,” he mentioned.

India’s three-match Test collection in opposition to South Africa is ranging from 26 December.
