“I have spent my entire life’s savings on my treatment. Finally, there was a final treatment, in which Shahid Afridi helped me a lot. He helped me in my time of need. When I met Shahid bhai, I was left with nothing. Within a day, the money was credited to my doctor’s account. He said that ‘how much money is needed, my brother will be fine’. He spent around 40-50 lakhs. I was glad he told his manager, ‘Don’t ask about that. Keep sending him as much money as he wants. The credit also goes to my doctor that he never tried to cheat me. He stayed on the amount that was required,” mentioned the previous Pakistan opener.
