The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has introduced the schedule for CA intermediate and closing examinations to be held in July. Intermediate examinations for the outdated and new syllabus will likely be held from July 6 to twenty. The Insurance Risk Management (IRM) technical examination for modules 1 to five will likely be held on July 5, 7, 9 and 11. ICAI had earlier introduced the postponement of CA Foundation examination in view of the COVID-19 state of affairs within the nation. . Initially, the CA examination was to be carried out on June 24, 26, 28 and 30. According to ICAI the examination will now begin from July 24, 2021.

The paper will likely be in two shifts. Paper 1 and Paper 2 will likely be held from 2 pm to five pm, whereas Paper 3 and 4 will likely be held from 2 pm to 4 pm. The institute stated that the choice to postpone the examination has been taken in view of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. ICAI has additionally stated that the window to alter the examination metropolis for these exams will likely be re-opened from June 9 to June 11 at icaiexam.icai.org.
