ICC gave beneath common ranking to Gaba’s pitch

The Brisbane pitch was rated beneath common by the International Cricket Council on Tuesday after the primary Test match between Australia and South Africa resulted in two days.

Australia gained the sport by six wickets after South Africa scored 152 and 99 of their two innings. Australia scored 218 runs of their first innings.

ICC match referee Richie Richardson stated, “Overall, the pitch at the Gabba was in favor of the bowlers for this Test match.” There was additional bounce and occasional extreme seam motion.

“The odd supply was brief on the second day as properly, making it very troublesome for the batsmen to construct partnerships. I discovered the pitch to be ‘beneath common’ as per ICC tips because it was not an equal match between bat and ball. Richardson’s report has been despatched to Cricket Australia.

The second Test of the three-match sequence can be performed on the MCG from December 26.
