Ravi Bishnoi, who has not been picked for the T20 World Cup, stated that he’s grateful for the assist he has obtained from former India captain Sunil Gavaskar.
The legendary India batsman had stated that Bihnoi shouldn’t be disheartened by not getting a spot within the T20 World Cup squad as his age favors him.
“If he (Sunil Gavaskar) is supporting me, he must have seen something in me. When someone like him praises your game, you get a lot of confidence. It becomes worthwhile,” Bishnoi informed Sports Tak.
Earlier, Gavaskar had stated that the 22-year-old spinner has to boost his degree and make himself dropable within the close to future.
“Well, he has age. There is to be one other T20 World Cup in a few years. There are so many T20 World Cups that he can play sooner or later.
