The 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) can pay tribute to the stalwarts of Indian cinema Lata Mangeshkar, T Rama Rao, Bappi Lahiri, Pandit Birju Maharaj, Pandit Shivkumar Sharma and Tarun Majumdar within the upcoming version.
The movie pageant will have a good time the exemplary works of artists who handed away final 12 months, creating an enormous void within the Indian movie business.
As a part of the in memoriam, the film gala will display one movie every of Lahiri (Disco Dancer), Bhupinder Singh (Mausam), KK (Bhool Bhulaiya), KPAC Lalitha (Shantham), Mangeshkar (Abhimaan), Pt. Birju Maharaj (Dedh Ishqiya), Pt. Shivkumar Sharma (Lamhe), Prathap Pothen-directed Rithubedham and Ramesh Deo (Saraswatichandra).
Other movies to be screened underneath the tribute part are Ravi Tandon’s directorial Unhoney, Salim Ghous (Thiruda Thiruda), Saawan Kumar Tak’s directorial Soutane, Shiva Kumar Subramaniam (Parinda), T. Rama Rao’s Jeevan Taranglu, by which Krishnam Raju is an invite from Tarun Majumdar. and Vatsala Deshmukh (Pinjara).
IFFI 2020 is scheduled to be held in Panaji, Goa from November 20 to twenty-eight.
