India males’s senior nationwide soccer group head coach Igor Stimac on Tuesday prolonged his contract until the top of the AFC Asian Cup 2023.
The choice to increase the contract was really helpful by AIFF’s technical committee final month and was later ratified by the manager committee at their respective conferences in Kolkata.

In a press release issued by AIFF, Stimac stated, “I am extremely happy that AIFF has trusted our process.” “We have had a very good performance in the qualifiers and we want to make sure that we continue to strengthen ourselves till the Asian Cup and give our best performance in the continental stage,” he added.
The 55-year-old from Croatia, has been answerable for the Blue Tigers since 2019.
“Now that we have secured the qualification, we must make sure that we keep on improving and find our best combination till the Asian Cup,” he added.
“Again, it’s not an easy process, and there will be a lot of pain along the way, but if we stick to the proper process and don’t take shortcuts, we can achieve our goal of making the knockout rounds,” Stimac concluded.
