IIM Calcutta receives endowment of Rs 3.24 cr from class 1992

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has obtained an help of Rs 3.24 crore from the twenty seventh Post Graduate Program (PGP) batch for improvement of state-of-the-art academic and infrastructure services, an official assertion mentioned. The class of 1992 raised Rs 3.24 crore among the many members of its batch to offer again to its alma mater.

This contribution from the alumni batch might be used to reinforce school rooms for educational flexibility in addition to set up a thriving Chair Professorship. This will contain up-gradation of technical infrastructure together with enchancment in allied infrastructure.

PGPEX Class L-52 in New Academic Block has been designated as ‘Class of 1992 – 27 Forever Seminar Hall’ in recognition of his contribution. The naming ceremony was inaugurated by Professor Subir Bhattacharya, Director-in-Charge, IIM Calcutta

He mentioned, “This donation is a new milestone in the contribution of the alumni and reflects the affection of these alumni towards IIM Calcutta. It has always been our priority to take forward the learning modalities.”
