IIT Delhi units up new chair in Data Analytics

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has arrange a brand new chair within the discipline of information analytics. An IIT Delhi alumnus, Jaswinder Chadha did his BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the institute in 1990 and secured the chair.

Jaswinder’s mom, Tarvinder Kaur Chadha was the primary lady to pursue a PhD in Mathematics from IIT Delhi in 1968. Tarvinder and Jassi are the primary parent-child graduates of IIT Delhi. Tarvinder Kaur had a distinguished profession in teachers and is a widely known scholar in fluid dynamics. She was previously Head of the Department of Mathematics and Dean of Science at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The ‘Jaswinder and Tarvinder Chadha Chair in Data Analytics’ is known as after the mother-son duo.

Jassi is a serial entrepreneur who at the moment serves because the founder and CEO of Xtria, an analytics and AI software program firm that not too long ago achieved unicorn standing.
