IIT JAM 2021 admission date prolonged, eligibility standards relaxed

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru has prolonged the deadline for submission of admission functions for the Joint Entrance Examination for Masters (JAM) until 31 May. Earlier, the final date for submission of admission functions was 27 May. Candidates can now register for admission via it. JAM 2021 on the official website-jam.iisc.ac.in or joaps.iisc.ac.in.

Apart from extending the deadline, IISc has additionally relaxed the eligibility standards for the candidates. Now solely candidates with “pass” within the qualifying examination can apply for IIT JAM 2021. Students who’ve handed JAM 2021 can apply for postgraduate admission in MSc (two years), joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD twin diploma. Other post-graduate diploma packages at IITs and for built-in PhD packages at IISc.

The official assertion on the JOAPS portal acknowledged, “In view of COVID-19, qualification degrees have been waived for all categories in the eligibility requirement for admission through JAM 2021.”

IIT JAM 2021: How to register

Step 1: Go to the official website-jam.iisc.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on on the registration hyperlink.

Step 3: On the window, enter enrollment ID or e-mail ID and password.

step 4; Fill within the utility kind with all the required credentials.

Step 5: Download the shape for future reference.

The results of JAM 2021 was launched on 20 March. The entrance examination was held on 14 February.
