The Ministry of External Affairs stated that the Center is intently monitoring the scenario in Pakistan after the previous Prime Minister Imran Khan shot throughout a rally Thursday night in Gujranwala, Wazirabad.
Several native information channels reported that pictures had been fired at Khan’s reception camp in Gujranwala city. Khan, who was stated to be out of hazard, was shot within the leg whereas he was main a protest march in direction of Islamabad.
“This is a development that has just happened. We are closely monitoring the incident and we will continue to monitor the ongoing developments,” External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi stated of the incident.

Reacting to the incident, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif condemned the firing in Gujranula and requested for an instantaneous report on the incident. Sharif directed Home Minister Rana Sanaullah to hunt speedy reviews from IG Police and Punjab Chief Secretary.
