India to renew scheduled worldwide flight providers from March 27

International scheduled industrial flights to and from India will resume March 27 onward after a 25-month ban, an order from the Ministry of Civil Aviation mentioned Tuesday.

“After having recognized the increased vaccination coverage across the globe and in consultation with the stakeholders, the Government of India has decided to resume scheduled commercial international passenger services to/from India from 27.03.2022, ie start of Summer Schedule 2022,” an official assertion mentioned.

An earlier plan of resuming worldwide scheduled industrial flights from December 15, 2021 was shelved by the federal government following the emergence of the Omicron variant.

“The international operations shall be subject to strict adherence to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare guidelines for international travel dated 10.02.2022 and as amended from time to time,” the assertion added.

Scheduled worldwide passenger flights have been suspended in India since March 23, 2020. However, particular passenger flights have been working between India and roughly 40 nations since July 2020 underneath air bubble preparations fashioned with them.

On February 28, aviation regulator DGCA had prolonged the suspension of scheduled worldwide passenger flights within the nation “till further orders”. On January 19, the suspension was prolonged until February 28.
