India vs New Zealand: West Bengal eases restrictions on motion resulting from cricket match

The West Bengal authorities on Sunday relaxed the restrictions on motion of individuals and automobiles by two hours because of the third T20 International cricket match between India and New Zealand on the Eden Gardens stadium.

Due to the scenario of COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions on motion of individuals and automobiles are in drive in West Bengal between 11 PM and 5 AM.

“In view of the third T20I cricket match between India and New Zealand on the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on twenty first November, 2021, restrictions referring to motion of individuals and automobiles between 11 pm and 5 am have been prolonged from 11 am to 2 hours. shall be relaxed. For spectators, gamers, match officers, organizers and different individuals linked with the stated match from the afternoon of November 21 to 1 pm of November 22,” a notification issued by the Government of West Bengal on Saturday stated.
