Italy winger Lorenzo Insigne will finish his 15-year affiliation with Napoli on the finish of the season after signing a pre-contract take care of Toronto FC in Major League Soccer.
The workforce stated on Saturday that Insigne would be part of Toronto on a four-year deal starting July 1.

Toronto President Bill Manning described Insigne’s signing as “a historic and exciting day for our club”, including that “Lorenzo is a world-class attacking player in the prime of his career.”
Insigne, who has performed 53 instances for Italy and scored 10 objectives, has been the captain of Napoli since 2019. He joined the membership in 2006 as a 15-year-old and made his senior workforce debut in 2010.
“Lorenzo is the kind of player you come to see,” stated Toronto head coach Bob Bradley, “because there’s always a chance he’ll do something unforgettable.”
