Dhawan was purchased by PBKS within the final public sale for Rs 8.25 crore.
The southpaw scored 460 runs in 14 matches at a mean of 38.33.
Dhawan will exchange Mayank Agarwal because the captain of Punjab Kings. He would be the 14th captain of PBKS in 16 seasons.
