“SC East Bengal have confirmed that Jose Manuel Diaz and his deputy Angel Puebla García have mutually agreed to part ways for personal reasons,” the Indian Super League membership stated in an announcement.
“Former India captain and our assistant coach Randy Singh has taken over as the interim head coach.”
Col Shivaji Samaddar, CEO, SC East Bengal, stated: “We thank Jose and Angel for their contributions and support to the team in the current season. I wish them both the best in their future endeavours.”
Diaz took over the reins from former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler.
SC East Bengal will tackle Bengaluru FC on January 4 at Bambolim.
