Israel says it’s going to switch almost 1 million doses of the soon-to-expire coronavirus vaccine dose to the Palestinian Authority.
Under the settlement introduced on Friday, the PA will switch doses to Israel after it’s acquired from the United Nations-backed program to produce vaccines to nations in want.
Israel, which has vaccinated about 85 p.c of its grownup inhabitants, has confronted criticism for not sharing its vaccines with Palestinians within the occupied West Bank and Gaza.
The settlement was introduced by the brand new Israeli authorities, which was sworn in on Sunday.
