The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) on Thursday left its pupil wing leaders with a rap on knuckles over allegations of sexual harassment by feminine members, ruling that an expression of remorse on social media would suffice as punishment.

This was a part of a “settlement” introduced by the social gathering on Thursday, below which leaders of Harita, the ladies’s wing of the Muslim Students Federation (MSF), should withdraw a grievance made to the state girls’s fee on the problem.

Police has already lodged an FIR towards three MSF leaders on the behest of the Women’s Commission.

Two weeks in the past, Harita leaders alleged that their male counterparts had made derogatory remarks in direction of them throughout a gathering. She approached the State Commission for Women after the IUML management did not act on her grievance. IUML retaliated by “colds” the State Harita Committee – calling for unprecedented protest from younger girls leaders of the IUML feeder group.

IUML basic secretary PMA Salam stated the MSF leaders would specific their remorse over the incident. He stated that the choice to freeze the Haritha State Committee could be withdrawn instantly.
