India’s F2 driver Jehan Daruwalla returned to the rostrum with third place within the Formula 2 dash race on the holy Monza monitor.

The 23-year-old began fifth on the grid, finally crossing the road seven seconds behind winner Juri Wipes and runner-up Frederick Vesti on Saturday. “It feels good to be back,” Jahan mentioned after ending seventh top-three of the season.

“It’s been a tough few weeks before this. I feel alive again and it’s good to be back.” It was Jahn’s fifth podium end at Monza and he went wheel-to-wheel with Logan Sargent. The pair grew to become concerned in a heart-wrenching battle by way of first chicane and lengthy, high-speed Curva Grande. Jahan defended firmly to go from inside to the opposite facet and went forward.

Jahn, who has a robust report at Monza, will now function in Sunday’s essential function race, for which he’s in sixth place.
With his Prema Racing workforce again in type for his or her dwelling races, Jahan has his sights set on making two podiums from two races this weekend.
