Actor-comedian Raju Srivastava died on September 21 at Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the place he was admitted after struggling a coronary heart assault on August 9. Srivastava was buried in Delhi on Thursday, whereas his household hosted a prayer assembly at ISKCON Juhu in Mumbai on Sunday.
Johnny Lever, Kapil Sharma, Kiku Sharda, Sugandha Mishra, Bharti Singh, her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa, Nitin Mukesh, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sham Kaushal attended the prayer assembly.

Ahead of the prayer assembly, Raju Srivastava’s daughter Antara instructed ETimes, “I am flying to Mumbai with mom tonight. that’s not nice. This is a very difficult time for us.”
Srivastava’s daughter additionally instructed that there will probably be a puja in Kanpur. “We will probably be again to Delhi quickly. There are many rituals occurring. Kanpur was father’s home. So now we have to worship there as nicely.”
From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Amitabh Bachchan, many individuals paid tribute to Raju Srivastava.
Remembering Raju, Amitabh wrote on his weblog, “Another collaborative friend and creative artist left us.. suddenly sick and gone prematurely.. before his creativity time was up.. every morning his day. Along with spirit and information.. to wake up his condition he was advised to send a voice.. I did.. they played for him in his ear in his kingdom.. once he opened his eye.. and then .. went away .”
