Filmmaker Jonas Cuarón has been signed by Sony Pictures to direct his upcoming Marvel movie El Muerto, starring rapper Bad Bunny. Jonas Cuarón, son of Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón, is greatest identified for his work within the 2015 thriller movie Desierto. According to leisure web site Deadline, El Muerto is in early improvement. Writer Gareth Dunnett-Alcosar is writing the screenplay.
El Muerto, identified within the comics as Juan-Carlos Estrada Sánchez, is a wrestler whose powers are handed down by the ancients within the type of a masks. In earlier comics, El Muerto entered the ring with Spider-Man. Bad Bunny, whose actual identify is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, would be the first Latino actor to headline a live-action Marvel movie. El Muerto is ready to hit theaters on January 12, 2024.
