Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan lately opened up about how he satisfied late appearing legend Sivaji Ganesan to say no the National Award for Best Supporting Actor for his efficiency in Thevar Magan (1992). Everybody was upset that he was given the award for supporting actor. I told him (Sivaji Ganesan) not to collect the award. He asked me why. I told him that he can go there to collect the Dadasaheb Phalke award. Let’s wait,” Kamal Haasan revealed throughout his interplay with Galatta Plus.
