bollywood actors Akshay Kumar Rakul Preet Singh, together with Sargun Mehta and Chandrachur Singh amongst others takes the viewers on the journey of an investigative cop in his upcoming movie Katputli. The trailer of the movie was launched as we speak in Mumbai in a singular approach by a particular puppet Akshay acted himself.
Akshay, who might be seen enjoying the position of a decided and dutiful cop within the movie, mentioned that the puppet has a singular premise, which attracted him to the venture within the first place.
In a press release, the actor mentioned, “Set once in Kasauli amidst the backdrop of nature’s beauty, the film unravels the incidents of ugly murders. It is full of thrilling twists and turns. I play the role of an underdog investigation officer, Arjan Sethi. who is on his way to catch a psycho killer whose motives are unpredictable and unclear. Here, revenge is an illusion and the final act of the film is unimaginable and will leave you completely surprised – and that’s what makes it unique! “
Director Ranjit M Tiwari mentioned, “It was extremely humbling and exciting to have the opportunity to collaborate with Akshay sir for the second time. I was attracted to Katputli because the work of our police forces always fascinated me. I wanted our viewers to experience mental acumen and perseverance along with the physical work that goes into solving a case.”
Puppet might be launched completely on Disney+ Hotstar on September 2, and for followers within the US, Puppet might be obtainable to stream on Hulu.
