He mentioned, “There are two different types of approach – one is top-down, and the other is bottom-up, which is volume cars. For example, Tata, with local production, started with volume cars, In terms of EVs. But we are very carefully looking at which is the best option for us, what kind of EV models we have, and what kind of leads we will get from the EV market in India. Combining them together, we We are looking very carefully as to which model we should start with. So, whether it is top-down or bottom-up, it will depend on the market conditions.”

Currently, Kia has three fashions in its product portfolio, and all of them are produced at its Anantapur facility in Andhra Pradesh. As of now, the corporate sells round 14,000 items each month. In November 2021, Kia bought 14,214 items, of which 8,859 items had been Seltos, 4,719 items had been Sonnet, and the remaining 636 items had been Carnival MPVs.
