Sri Lankan pacer Lahiru Kumara and Bangladesh batsman Liton Das have been on Monday fined 25 per cent and 15 per cent of their match charges, respectively.

“… both Sri Lankan bowler Lahiru Kumara and Bangladesh batsman Liton Das Kumar were fined for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel,” the apex physique stated in a press release.
“Kumara was fined 25% of the match fee and got 1 demerit point. Das was fined 15% of the match fee and 1 demerit point was obtained,” the ICC stated.
Kumara was discovered responsible of a breach of Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which “regards the use of language, actions or gestures, or which provokes an aggressive reaction by a batsman to his dismissal.” Could be a world match.”
