Earlier, Shah had informed PTI that Mangeshkar was admitted to the ICU as he required “continuous care” because of his age.
“He is mild COVID positive. Considering his age, doctors advised us to keep him in ICU as he needs constant care. And we can’t take any chances. As a family we want the best and want to ensure that he is taken care of 24X7,” she had mentioned.
Regarded as one of many best singers of Indian cinema, Mangeshkar started his profession in 1942 on the age of 13 and has over 30,000 songs to his identify in a number of Indian languages.
