Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar introduced the possession rights in all such instances, giving reduction to those that have held homes and outlets on lease or lease for the final 20 years on the municipal company land.

As per the policy, the occupier should have completed 20 years by December 31, 2020. A discount of 20 percent on the current collector rate will be given to those who are staying at home or running a shop in the past. 20 years. Those with a 50-year occupancy period will get a rebate of up to 50 percent. If the period of an occupant is more than 50 years, he will be given a maximum of 50 percent discount on the current collector rate, ”stated Khattar.

He additional stated, “Municipalities associated with occupiers who are found eligible will issue notice to the beneficiary and ask them to pay the prescribed amount after the exemption within a period of 15 days. They will have to deposit 25 per cent within 15 days from the date of issue of the notice, while the remaining 75 per cent amount will have to be deposited within three months…,” Khattar stated.
