Leicester City have signed Ryan Bertrand on a two-year deal after the left-back grew to become a free agent after his launch from Southampton, the Premier League membership mentioned on Thursday.
Bertrand spent seven seasons with the Saints, making 240 appearances for the south-coast membership. The 31-year-old, Champions League winner with Chelsea, additionally holds 19 England caps however hasn’t performed for the Three Lions since 2017.

“Leicester has produced something amazing over the years, especially since Brendan Rodgers has arrived,” Bertrand mentioned in an announcement. “It’s great to be a part of this wonderful club and I’m going to give my all to make fans proud.”
Leicester, who received the FA Cup the earlier season, started their marketing campaign with a Community Shield match towards league champions Manchester City on 7 August, and every week later hosted Wolverhampton Wanderers on the primary day of the Premier League season.
