Gary Lineker has stated he stands by his tweets criticizing the federal government’s asylum coverage.
Asked by reporters exterior his residence on Thursday whether or not he feared suspension from the BBC, the Match of the Day host stated: “No”.
Lineker in contrast the language utilized by the federal government for the asylum scheme to “the language used by Germany in the 30s”.
The Culture Secretary stated the presenter’s tweets had been “disappointing and inappropriate”.
