A four-year-old woman ready for a coronary heart transplant has obtained tons of of Christmas playing cards from form strangers, with extra arriving each day.
Evie Green, from Middlesbrough, has dilated cardiomyopathy and is at the moment in Newcastle’s Freeman Hospital.
“She’s been in hospital 10 months now, so we’ve been waiting quite a little while and the whole card thing was just something to hopefully pick her up and give her something to look forward to,” mentioned Evie’s mum, Chloe.
Evie is a part of the NHS Waiting to Live marketing campaign, which created a doll in her likeness to encourage folks so as to add themselves and their youngsters on to the NHS Organ Donor Register.
