Bareilly police have arrested a 32-year-old madrassa instructor for declaring a reward of Rs 1 crore for beheading a Hindu activist from Uttarakhand.

After a video of Maulana Hafiz Faizan Raza’s announcement went viral on social media, the police have registered a case in opposition to him. They have been booked underneath the Information Technology Act together with selling enmity between two teams at Izzatnagar police station in Bareilly.

“We have arrested Faizan Raza, who claims to be a instructor in a madrasa in Bareilly. He introduced a reward for beheading him after studying in regards to the alleged remarks of Darshan Bharti (activist),” mentioned Satish Kumar, station home officer of Izzatnagar police station.

Bharti is the founding father of Uttarakhand Raksha Abhiyan.
