Maharashtra BJP seeks CBI probe in opposition to DyCM Ajit Pawar in circumstances associated to Param Bir, Waze

Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil on Thursday demanded a CBI probe in opposition to state Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Transport Minister Anil Parab in circumstances involving senior IPS officer Param Bir Singh and former policeman Sachin Waje.

Patil was talking on the state celebration conference held right here.

“The state BJP has passed a resolution seeking a CBI probe against Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Shiv Sena leader and Transport Minister Anil Parab for their alleged involvement in the cases related to Param Bir Singh and Veje,” Patil stated.

Singh was transferred from the put up of Mumbai Police Commissioner to the Home Guards division in March this 12 months amid controversy over Waze’s alleged involvement in an explosives-laden SUV case close to industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s home in February.

Later, in a letter to the state authorities, Singh alleged corruption and misuse of official place by the then Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

Vaze was arrested on March 13 by the National Investigation Agency, which is investigating the case. He was dismissed from police service final month.
