Malayalam celebrity Mammootty has unveiled the primary look poster of his upcoming movie Christopher on the eve of his 71st birthday. The thriller, which options Mammootty as a ‘vigilant cop’, is directed by B Unnikrishnan and written by Udayakrishna.
Mammootty shared the poster with the caption, “Here is the primary look poster #Christopher, written by #UdayKrishna Directed by Unnikrishnan B and Produced by #RDilluminations. The tagline of the film is, “Biography of a Vigilant Policeman.”

Christopher marked the reunion of director Unnikrishnan and Mammootty after a hiatus of 12 years. Their final movie collectively was Pramani in 2010.
The movie, which fits on flooring in July, stars Amala Paul, Aishwarya Laxmi, Dilesh Pothen, Siddiqui, Jinu Abraham amongst others. The movie additionally marks Vinay Rai’s entry into Malayalam cinema and will likely be shot in Ernakulam, Pooyakutty and Vandiperiyar, amongst others. The music for Christopher has been composed by Justin Varghese.
B Unnikrishnan’s final movie was ‘Aarattu’ that includes Mohanlal, which was slammed by the viewers and critics.
