Mammootty on Wednesday shared a uncommon image of his first display screen look. And he thanked an unidentified one who had colour corrected a screengrab from an outdated black-and-white film. “Thank you very much for doing this. This is a screengrab from my first appearance on celluloid. Color corrected with black and white,” wrote the 69-year-old celebrity.
The picture is from director KS Sethumadhavan’s 1971 movie Anubhavangal Palichkal. Mammootty performed a small uncredited position within the movie, which starred iconic actors Satyan and Prem Nazir within the lead roles. “It brings back such vivid memories from another time. I had the rare privilege of being in the same film as Satyan Master. In fact I remember touching her feet once when he was sleeping, resting between shots,” he recalled.
