At the post-match presentation, Anjum Chopra requested Lanning: Were you guys in a rush to catch a flight?
Lanning laughed and mentioned, “Shafali definitely appeared like she was (attempting to ensure she caught an early flight).

Asked about his recommendation to Shafali, Lanning mentioned: “I told him, ‘Just keep it simple, stay steady and hit the ball straight’ – and that’s exactly what he did,” admitted Lanning, who might have Express remorse on the matter. Shafali additionally acknowledged how Lanning’s presence on the different finish offers her consolation.
“In the last game, I got out playing a flick. So I tried to play straight. Thank you Meg and thank you to all my teammates and my family.
