Meghalaya Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Saleng A Sangma on Thursday alleged that militants have taken shelter in an under-construction constructing of Tura Medical College and Hospital in Meghalaya.
The MLA stated through the Question Hour within the state meeting that he has experiences that round 70 militants belonging to unknown organizations have taken shelter within the medical school and hospital premises, that are below building.
Referring to the report obtained, the MLA requested whether or not the federal government had obtained any such info, to which Meghalaya Home Minister James PK Sangma stated that the federal government has not obtained any such report.
