META, CBSE increase partnership to coach 10 million college students in Virtual, Augmented Reality

META founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday introduced the growth of his firm’s collaboration with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India to offer digital and augmented actuality coaching to 1 million academics and over one crore college students. will prepare in subsequent three years.

META will present a course on digital safety and on-line wellbeing, digital actuality (VR), and augmented actuality (AR) as a part of this partnership. These programs shall be obtainable on-line on the CBSE web site.

Speaking on the Fuel for India 2021 occasion, Zuckerberg stated the partnership with CBSE was a possibility to “invest in the entrepreneurial spirit and bring some of these tools around the metaverse and training to the education system in the country”.

“We are investing in other growing sectors like education and commerce through Unacademy and Meesho, which are important use cases as we think about the future we are building. We look forward to continuing partnerships in all of these areas as we accelerate the development of the fundamental technologies, social platforms and creative tools that are essential to bring the Metaverse to life,” Zuckerberg stated.
