Actress Mouni Roy married Dubai-based businessman Sooraj Nambiar on January 27 in Goa. The couple first began their relationship following the South Indian custom. Later, they tied the knot as per the Bengali custom.
While Mouni was seen in a darkish crimson border white sari and gold jewellery for the Malayali marriage ceremony, for her Bengali marriage ceremony, the actor eschewed conventional Bengali apparel. Instead, he wore a crimson lehenga. Sooraj was seen in a beige coloured sherwani.
Some movies and footage from the ceremony surfaced on the actor’s fan account. Following Bengali custom, Mouni entered the marriage venue on a picket plank, together with her face hidden by a betel leaf. She was taken to the mandap by her brothers Mukhar Roy, Rahul Shetty, Prateek Utrekar and Manmeet of Meet Brothers.
On Wednesday, Mouni’s Haldi and Mehndi Ceremony passed off. His shut pals Arjun Bijlani, Mandira Bedi, Aashka Goradia, Rahul Shetty and others attended the ceremony. Celebrities like Smriti Irani, Anushka Sharma, Esha Gupta, Sophie Choudry and lots of others wished Mouni on her marriage ceremony.
Earlier within the day, Mouni Roy shared footage from her Malayali marriage ceremony on social media and wrote, “I finally found her..♥clasp hands, blessings of family and friends, we are married!!!!!!!!! !! , Need your love and blessings…27.01.22 Pyaar, Suraj and Mouni.”
