A person has been arrested in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district for allegedly attempting to transform a girl with whom he has been dwelling for over 13 years.
The girl had given a written software to the police on July 8 alleging that the person befriended her via fraud and tried to transform her to faith by promising marriage and forcing her. She alleged that he was pressured to dwell along with her for thus a few years.
City Inspector DP Singh Chauhan stated that an FIR has been registered on the idea of the criticism of the lady. The individual has been charged underneath sections 3 and 5 of the Freedom of Religion Act, 2021, in addition to sections 376 (rape), 419 (dishonest by impersonation) and 506 (felony intimidation) of the IPC.
“The man had not married the woman or converted her religion in accordance with the provisions of the law. But at the same time they identified the woman in some documents as Shamima Begum and thus she has been arrested,” Chauhan advised The Indian Express.
In her software, the lady alleged that the person’s actual identify was Rafi, however he recognized himself as Rakesh Kushwaha and received concerned in her love affair with him. She claimed that Rafi kicked her husband out of their home and offered him.
The girl claimed that she later got here to know that the person’s actual identify was Rafi, by then the 2 had a baby.
“Recently his visits to my house had reduced, and he used to beat me every time he came. Every time he imposed himself on me too and threatened to kill me and my daughter,” the lady stated in her criticism.
Speaking to The Indian Express, the lady stated, “I didn’t commit suicide thinking about my daughter. I just need some help educating him.”
