NC Minority cell chief resigns

In a setback to the National Conference, its minority cell president MK Yogi on Friday resigned to protest towards the social gathering management’s alleged failure to acknowledge the work of floor activists in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dozens of prime leaders together with lawmakers have left the social gathering previously six months over varied points.

“I am tendering my resignation from the post of president minority cell and also from the basic membership of the party,” Yogi instructed reporters right here.

In a letter to the president and vice-president of the NC, Yogi charged the management of the social gathering with pursuing their private agenda as a substitute of strengthening the social gathering and its employees.

“Having served NC for the last 27 years, I painfully record my annoyance with its leadership for pursuing their personal agenda and not recognizing the sincere work of ground workers”, he stated.

Yogi stated he gave his complete life to this social gathering however his work was not acknowledged.

“Therefore, I am resigning from the party”, he stated.

“While remaining in the party, I am unable to serve the people of my community, which has been the aim and purpose of my life”, he stated. P
