The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday arrested Sushant Singh Rajput flatmate Siddharth Pithani from Hyderabad in a medication case involving the demise of a Bollywood actor.
An NCB staff led by zonal director Sameer Wankhede arrested Pithani from Hyderabad. According to information company PTI, he was dropped at Mumbai after his arrest.
“The alleged role of Pithani in the drug case that came after the death of the actor came to light during the NCB investigation and hence he was arrested,” PTI was quoted as saying by an official.
Pithani stayed with the late actor at his Bandra residence in suburban Mumbai.
