The National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) on Friday lauded the efforts of Punjab Police for efficiently implementing its nationwide flagship undertaking – Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and System (CCTNS) and additional customizing it as per the necessities.
“Punjab Police has done a great job in implementing CCTNS in all police stations and being an example to others in technology driven policing,” NCRB Director Ram Phal Pawar stated throughout a gathering.
CCTNS is a software program utility that goals to create a complete and built-in system for enhancing the effectivity and effectiveness of policing by sharing standardized technique of crime and felony information throughout police stations of the nation.
