Australian opener Usman Khawaja has revealed that he requested Cameron Green for a hug after he accomplished his century on the primary day of the fourth Test towards India on the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

R Ashwin gave India the primary breakthrough by dismissing Head for 32 runs. Between Smith’s dismissal by Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami bowled Marnus Labuschagne (3) and Peter Handscomb (17) in two lovely deliveries.

India is forward 2-1 within the sequence.
