New Zealand seamer Mitchell McClenaghan termed the continued Twenty20 collection between India and New Zealand as “meaningless” on Twitter. According to the 35-year-old, the collection has been jammed over 5 days and has began inside 72 hours of New Zealand taking part in the T20 World Cup ultimate. In a later tweet, he defined that his statements have been made in jest and added that he would like to see New Zealand win the collection.
After McClenaghan commented on AB de Villier’s retirement on Twitter, a cricket fan reminded him of New Zealand’s T20I collection loss to India after struggling their second loss in Ranchi on Friday.
To this, McClenaghan, who final performed for New Zealand in 2018, replied: “Did he? You mean in a wasted series, playing a team with 3 games in 5 days with 10 days rest in their home conditions, 72 hours after WC’s final defeat?”
did they? You imply meaningless collection 72 hours after WC’s ultimate defeat with 3 video games in 5 days to a staff taking part in of their dwelling circumstances with 10 days relaxation? https://t.co/jldmmH58YZ
